This was a bumper sticker on a car in Pueblo, Colorado. I’m not sure about the demographics and/or politicism of Pueblo but where we live in the eastern plains, there is a major Republican base. The annoying thing is that these people are the “my way or the highway” types. There is no intelligent discussion just tunnel vision. Being an ex-Californian, it’s frustrating.
I am used to differing opinions but nasty is just not necessary so I thank all (or most) of the responses for a decent convversation without the negativity. No doubt it will happen but Admin has given us the Unwatch function for such occasions.

Lot of people not known how to have decent conversation. Like you said of those people it is " my way or the highway." Most of them are Trump's people and Trump to them is God right hand man which can do no wrong.

The interesting thing to me at present is this topic seems to have been moved to the attic for no other reason than the title. No one yet has posted a nasty comment so one must wonder if certain things are being censored for an issue that is real or one that simply has a potential? Hmmm.

It seems evident to me that the Republican Party has changed in major ways. There was a time that the Rs recognized the same problems as did the Ds; it was just a different way of fixing those problems. I have always been a Democrat, but I could v**e for Eisenhower and not comprimise my values.
