Beware gray market goods and "in-house" or sellers warrantees warrantees. Call them and ask if the item you are ordering is covered by the MANUFACTURER'S USA warrantee.

I recently bought a lens from them I am returning. They advertised as tamron but never mentioned it was grey market.

I sent them an inquiry about a lens as to whether it was grey market or had a USA warranty. Never received a response. I tried dealing with them years ago when I purchased a D700, and they were horrible; bait and switch, grey market, demanding, very rude. There are too many good dealers out there to deal with one that is deceptive and unprofessional. I like Adorama, B&H, and Prophotosupply.

You could be talking about a gray market camera and eventually you will regret buying it. In my humble experience 42nd Street Camera is not reputable dealer.
Pay a little more at Adorama or B&H and have peace of mind.

A Nikon refurbished D3300 is a much better choice. The idiots at Nikon took the ultrasonic sensor cleaner out of the D3400.

Deal with one of the ABC: Adorama, B&H, Cameta. The latter is best for Nikon refurbs as the up the warranty to a year for free.

About that “Ten foot pole”?
Don’t use it to touch that seller!
Definitely an unethical dealer!

Consider saving money by buying factory refurbished bodies and lenses. Nikon USA and Cameta Camera are two great sources if they have product in stock. I have never has a problem with factory refurbished camera equipment. Cameta Camera adds to Nikon’s 90 day warranty to take it out to a year. I have never received anything that did not look “as new”. My D7200 came with 15 clicks on the shutter.

I just got my sixth Nikon refurb from them: D5600. It came in new condition with 17 clicks.

Interestingly when I called Cameta back about a couple of missing small parts he said I was lucky: some refurbs come with 10,000 clicks. None of mine have.

Anyhow Cameta immedately sent me the “missing” parts, which I later learned Nikon no longer includes with their new cameras (hot shoe insert and viewfinder shade).

Agree about Cameta. I traded some equipment to them for other equipment and they made the best offer for my used gear, better than some others who gave me estimates. I like doing business with them. Their extra 9 months warranty on Nikon refurbished is a bonus!
