Well you have me stumped. I live in San Francisco and have some comprehension of male to male spacing, but you have me completely flummoxed with this post!

Although I have heard that stiction can be painful, regardless of the genders involved!
Well you have me stumped. I live in San Francisco ... (show quote)

I'd have to wonder, can petroleum jelly help with stiction?

I had the same problem but solved it by maximizing the AXL assembly parameters with a flexion coupling on 642 wiring gimbel rotation sensor. Of course I had to rotate the fraction master first, but that’s a given.

Rotate left or right?

It is obviously the paraffin paradox that is affecting the mind... well even Einstein got confused or was that Eisenstein. One dealt with electrons going down steps the other famous Russian with baby carriage going down the steps. Wonder how many babies died filming the scene... oh well !

Nikon sells "Paraffin Paradox" filters for high price You get what you pay for and I would not consider one made by a lesser company !

Dirtpusher simplified it too much with his T adapter and a microscope.... an IntelMatel scope comes with no need for such and is USB direct.

You're in the wrong section. Go to Astronomical Section. Nobody here knows what you are talking about.

John, you must be correct, as there is no earthly explanation. Perhaps he over indulged in the Twilight Zone Marathon.

In all my years I don't think I ever read a thread that I had absolutely no idea what is being talked about.

This should be interesting.

The magic word is Meade; it's an Astrophotography thing. And, stic·tion - the friction that tends to prevent stationary surfaces from being set in motion.

All I can say is when my mother applied stic·tion to me my stationary surfaces were definitely set in motion.

If you solve the cooling function, it may take care of the stiction issue.

Perhaps he should PM Apaflo for advice.

stiction can be caused by the matting of the 2 surfaces perfectly. If you have 2 very smooth surfaces they don't want to slide but once you put enough force to move them they would slide easily and smoothly.

I would say "stepping beyond" is a excellent choice of OP name for this query!
