Jerry, did you forget Ellenville?

How about the Town of Olive, south of the reservoir, BTW the history of the Rondout Reservoir is rather interesting, and not so fair to the residents of the area, it was a populated area before the dam was built.

There used to be a tobacco shop in Intercourse and the proprietor had a spiel about the area very entertaining, among the comments he made,

Intercourse is a dry town, no drinking, no dancing, but with a name like Intercourse what else do you need?

To get to Paradise you have to go through Intercourse , if you make a wrong turn you end up in Blue Ball.

From the East on Rt 23 you pass through Church town and GoodVille then you get to Blue Ball, BTW very good buffet there and farm market, Bob.

Louisville, KY named after King Louis XVI of France in 1778 in appreciation of France's support for the colonies during the American Revolution. King Louis was beheaded in 1793, a result of France's own popular revolution.

California has a lot of first name places, but they are named after saints. San Francisco, Santa Monica, San Diego, Santa Susanna, etc. Just off the top of my head.
