Try an Army surplus store. I live not far from Ft. Bragg and one of the bigger surplus shop had about 50 pelican cases of various size and configuration. Honestly, I did not think they were cheap, but they were much cheaper than new retail. Most were in good shape. You might have to replace the dividers and such.

I have a friend who is a photographer and a marks man. He took a pelican case and fitted it with custom holsters for his guns and then did another for his cameras. Very nice. He used Kydex and his food vacuum machine.

Thanks for all your replies and great information to consider. I do want to be able to get everything in a case that will travel in and out of my house to the SUV. I do have a number of bags; however, what I am looking for seems to be in the other bag. I know!!! knowing what is in each bag should be mandatory; however, my mandatory capabilities seem to be slipping. :-)

You have given me many good ideas. I question wheter the Pelican case will be large enough. I also do not need waterproof. I will look into all suggestions. I also will look at a Pelican Dual Breakdown Shotgun case I have that was intended to trap shooting; however, I have not used it in the past 20 years.

Thanks again,

Terry
