I started, as did a lot of us, with Microsoft's ICE, but I kept getting mis match stitching even with sufficient overlap.

Now, I only use Lightroom, since LR6 when Pano stitching was added. Faster and more precise. I have had issues occasionally when there are 8 or 10 individual 43 Mb images to stitch, then I use Photoshop.
