Warm weather is over what next?
I'm leave in Minnesota, be honest I'm addicted to photography, I'm retired I have all day long to continue my passion, I love Outdoor but the colors is gone, everything is grey โบ no snow !
I'm sure I'm not the only one who asked himself what I going to do today or tomorrow ?
Any idea what type environment still be interesting for photography ?
Please send me some ideas๐
indoors, studio strobes, pretty girls, still lifes
๐, thank you I already started looking for cheap tickets to Seattle Washington ๐, maybe New Mexico ๐for astro...
I have a similar situation here in Alaska, but we do have snow.
Bleak misty landscapes, sun rise/set, cold clear night scenes, leafless trees, birds, holiday decorations . . .

Learn new software - Photoshop/Lightroom, NIK, On1, Perfectly Clear, Photomatix, etc. Indoor macro photography.
Try some night sky photography...stair trails, moon shots, meteor showers.
The research on these things alone will keep you busy for a few dull days
I'm betting you will see snow and ice before long - great photo ops.
Photography make sense again , you people are great family " photography family " thank you ๐
Things to do in Minnesota. There is Grand Marais on the north shore where you can get some of the best night shot in the country. There's the headwaters for the Mississippi at Itasca State Park. There's Gooseberry Falls, Minnehaha Falls, Minepoa State park has a nice waterfall, Jay Cooke has a lot of nice water features. Duluth has a huge Christmas Light display. When the Mississippi freezes over go to the city park by Wabasha, there has been as many as 150 eagles at the hot spring. St. Paul has a freight train station with about 20 tracks, you can't go in the yard but there's a bridge over it that you can spend hours taking pictures from there. Go to Vikings stadium before a game a take photos of all the people with thier purple face and horns. Now is also a good time for photos of old broken down houses and barns.
I like to say thank you everyone, all those ideas
are very helpful, I'm tired to sit on the couch and watch that stupid TV, I wish to have my own Studio oh well, maybe next year ๐, tomorrow 45 no rain and sunny ๐ค

Scavange your yard(s) for bits of moss, leaves, acorns, seed pods, bark, wisps and tufts. Build a little still life, light it with one spot & some mirrors and aluminum foil.
