Welcome to Day 185 :) Today it's all about Decorative Wood. This is totally open to interpretation. It could mean anything from very ornate carved wood to plain beams used in construction. Go with what you feel .. your instincts are usually always right.
Here are a few examples to get us started .. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.
Been working a lot to cover office-illness doing a job!

I have a busy day ahead of me as I am expecting two grandchildren to arrive any minute, so I have taken a couple of pictures around our house. first is our staircase bannister looking from upstairs down. the early morning light really sets off its natural colour and highlights. secondly and thirdly, from downstairs looking up
We have an older home which still has a lot of its original moldings First a square molding block at the top of the door casing, secondly a bracket supporting the lintel at our front entrance and third. all of our wooden four panelled doosr are grain painted.
Some more decorative wood in my home :antique pressed back dining room chairs, old original doors and latches in my pantry and thirdly grain painting within a china cabinet

Yeah Tooth, water calls often..Was raised on it and like they say, ''I've got sand in my shoes'' which means that if you were raised on the water, you will return,
