Yes, that is the subject. What do you suppose "Request Stock Alert" means?

What abnormal source(s) are you referring to?

I made reference to normal sources not having availability. Have you shopped for the lens to see who does and does not have it in stock??

Based on your link, you should have found the lens is available, but not from retailers that most here seem to use.

Yeah, I am somewhat leery of a (photographic equipment) source that can offer something that B&H, Amazon, Adorama, Best Buy, or Google cannot provide.

You're not referencing abnormal sources are you, whatever that means?

OK, new hog here. I finally have to ask...what does GAS stand for other than that which originates form by Boston Terrier's back end?
Heidi (who owns the Tamron, 99mm, 150-600, 28-300 (for sale) and the new 18-400, as well as a canon wide angle, fisheye and kit lens) as well as several hedgehogs in the past. All fun!

You purchase the 150-600 for the focal length. It's a big lens - not a lens to be just carried around like the 18-400. It's mainly for far away objects.

Thank you to all who have replied. I believe that I will wait until late Nov. and see what sales might arise.
