Beautiful shot. You captured the fury.

Shoits like this are the reason Nikon makes that "continuous shutter" mode. :-)

Thanks for looking.

So much destruction and devastation from the storm. And yet, you were given this ... a quiet walk on the beach, smell of ocean air, sounds of breaking waves and the peace of knowing survival. Beautiful clouds welcoming a new day. And the joy of another mesmerizing shot, Larry.

The peace and silence of a tidal pool is shattered by a breaking wave at dawn at Blowing Rocks, Florida.
I always love going to Blowing Rocks because you get a quiet predawn 1.25 mile walk along the dark beach to reach blowing rocks. It was a bit more adventurous this time as the Hurricane Irma washed much of the beach away and I was forced to rush between waves at a few spots along the walk up to the rocks. Still, it was a beautiful morning. Thanks for looking.

As always, please view as a download. Thanks

Thanks for commenting. You certainly put things in perspective. For me, it was a soul refreshing morning. Even with getting up at 4 a.m. to get there, it was worth it. Spent 2 hours on the beach and felt refreshed when finished. Saturday I'll be up at 4 again so I can be in the everglades for sunrise. Man, what a life..... :-)
