Yes, we all pay taxes in one way or another, even those with the least of incomes.

To me it is a lot like the tragic deaths in Las Vegas. Very sad.
Yet I don't hear anyone mention the 3,000 lives that were lost today to abortions.
And about a third of those are blacks...but I don't see BLM marching about that either...

Best,
Todd Ferguson

The thing with "the least of income" is they get their tax dollars back, In most cases in addition to their tax refund, there is also a Earned Income Refund.

In many cases yes, but not in some taxes such as sales taxes, real estate taxes, although they may not own real estate, and SS taxes that might be withheld from income earnings. But yes they are often getting more in transfer tax payments than they ever pay in taxes.

Best,
Todd Ferguson

Agreed. So when the administration talks in terms of a reduction in the corporate tax rate it really gets down to a potential benefit to the consumers and to the company and the owners and shareholders. So to me it is a good deal all around except to the government as it takes money away from the government and reduces the ability for them to redistribute a certain amount of the economic wealth. That is a good thing in my view...

Observation during MY adult lifetime, beginning with the Kennedy tax cuts, has shown that reducing tax rates ALWAYS increases revenue to the government as a result of the increased economic activity that the lower rates bring. The reasons for NOT cutting taxes are entirely political - Congress evaluates taxes using a static analysis (lowering taxes X% means lowering government revenue X%, consciously ignoring the behavioral effects that INEVITABLY follow a reduction in rates) and many politicians promise their voters "vote for me and I'll raise taxes on those greedy rich people and give the money to you."

Totally agree with you...Government gets its power by choosing winners and losers...That is what Trump is working to end...

I don't understand your problem. The "FREE" dng converter is kept up to date. I have CS5, and my newest camera is a D500. You can continue to use CS4 that you paid for years ago. Seems like you are getting your money's worth. I recently purchased PS Elements and Premiere Elements for $69. Very reasonable and capable for us non professionals. GM doesn't sell a Cadillac for the price of a Chevy, but both get the job done.

I don't have a problem. I like acr better than the dng converter. No money problems. Nothing. What's your problem?

I wonder if Photoshop Elements will be next. Seems like The Adobe blood sucking continues.💀

Remember when PS cost around $600 for the stand-alone version? IMHO, Adobe made a business decision that increased their customer base and made updates easier to transmit. Efficiency for them, less cost for us!

I never had PS before the Adobe CC subscription. Could not afford it. I had LR but updating every year for a couple of small changes did not make sense. I still had LR4 when I decided to subscribe. Now I have excellent tools to edit my photos and never have to be worried about whether the updates are worth the price!

You said you couldn't buy a new camera because your version of PS wouldn't handle the files. Then you said you use The DNG converter. So I don't understand the problem you brought up about buying a new camera. Unless I misread and it was someone else that said that. If so, I apologize.

Bingo! For $9.99 a month, Lightroom AND Photoshop is a sweet deal in my opinion. I started subscribing back in March of 2014 - look forward to every update to have the absolute latest and greatest version of Photoshop, ACR, Bridge & Lightroom. While there are other tools available, not seeing anything that beats Adobe yet for me.

http://www.thedrive.com/sheetmetal/14637/car-subscriptions-expected-to-make-up-a-fifth-of-volvos-sales-by-2023 Careful what you ask for!

BTW - I would happily pay $10.00 a month for a high end iMac Pro, getting a maxed out new system every 12-18 months! :)
