Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 Lens , I work with Nikon D700 , D500, of course besides 'Nikon' - 'Sigma Art' is my favorite one, I love to try the new Tamron , if you have any experience with this beautiful and not cheap lens. Thank you.
I don't own it either, but I have a Nikon Nikor 70-200 2.8 and love it. I do also have a Tamron 150-600 6.3 and also love it. I don't find a lot of difference between the Nikon, or canon, lenses and their Tamron counterparts other than durability. You will get away with less drops and bumps with Tamron.
I have six lenses all primary pieces, I have a good feeling about the new line from tamron,
So I think this one , it is that good choice for zoom lens, thank you for your post.
I have it for Canon. I love it.
Ooooo, I guess it's not grey market what you have so please tell me from where you buy it?

I have been fighting a GAS attack over this lens . Must have been through every review there is, on youtube and elsewhere.
The upshot seems to be the the Tamron is a great lens . However, compared to the latest Nikon its focus acquisition is not quite as good . The pair focus better at some lengths compared to other lengths but that the Nikon is better at 200mm . Vibration control is reviewed as being better on the Tamron. Camera labs seems favour the Nikon but........
The reviews also stated that the Tamron focus breaths, but I can see that this is an issue for anyone except wedding photographers . These lens appear to be so good that you can just crop in if you want a larger image .
I am still fighting my GAS attack , help required please !!!!!
I have very important appointment for winter for wildlife thank you for your information it's mean a lot👍
The gray Market mostly from Asia, low quality, no USA guarantee, my favor is BH, on YouTube it is easy to recognize what you have.
I have this lens, and I'm very pleased with it. I've included 2 links to posts of shots taken with this lens. Yes it does have some focus breathing. I use it mainly on a D750.

Wow Uncle Buck ,
I would be pleased with any of those shots, great stuff.
The 70-200mm f2.8 lens is perhaps one of the most versatile lens anyone could purchase. Especially if you own a full frame camera. It is great for portraits and action sports. No professional sports photographer would be caught without it. Nikon's newest version of the 70-200mm f2.8, which cost about $2800, is hailed as the very best today. However, the Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 G2 was selling for $1300, the last I checked. Since I can't afford the Nikon's version, I was considering buying this lens, when the Tamron 70-200mm G2 first came out, I had it on my bucket list. But, since I shoot very little sports events, I felt I could use the money to buy another more useful lens. The Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 G2 is your best bang for the bucks. IMO. And Tamron comes with a 6 year warranty.
My heartbeat is rising, I love this lens from the beginning, for me , after Nikon alternative lenses was always from Sigma art, works great with my D500 and for low-light D700, thank you everyone, time to call to B&H
