Taken Tuesday afternoon at Garvan Gardens except for the shot of Aunt Falisa. I surprised her as she left today. Included it to show a 2.8 portrait shot. Don't tell her I posted it. Vignette is added. Have A Blessed Day !!!

Wonderful Captures !!...I almost purchased this lens but opted for the Canon 70-200 f/4 L. Looks like you are happy with the Tamron...What do you think of it so far??

Thank You Carlo. I was very close to buying the new Nikon when I saw the announcement on this lens and immediately pre ordered it. I've taken about 300 shots with it so far. Focusing is excellent, bokeh is also, it handles well. Color rendition is good. I haven't shot the new nikon so I can't compare the two, but I'm very pleased. VC is also excellent, I've gotten very sharp shots handheld at 1/30th and 200mm.

Great shots. This 70-200mm f2.8 G2 lens, although not a Canon "L" lens or a Nikon Gold Ring, is destined to be a very popular, quality lens. And the price is nice too. $1300. Enjoy it.

Thank You Sue. It's my favorite time at the gardens, love the tulips, which came in a month early this year because of our warmer winter, and the camellias and azaleas. The last shot's of my year round favorite, who would shoot me if she knew I had posted a picture.
