I'm muddling through SGP at this time as well, And man is is NOT easy.

Don't know if this may help you, but this guy wrote up a pretty good tutorial on getting started.

I'm almost to the bottom of Page 8. Lordy!

Good luck with that Sonny.

Craig this is pretty good info , I keep holding off on getting my code "this darn cold is just k.illing me" I don't go outside very much at all since the temps here plummeted into the 20-30s during the day. I've had the trial SGP for sometime now and I think that working with it will be a benefit and hopefully I'll get my 1mm spacer to complete my imaging train " See the gap between the extension and the EFW" I can't screw it all the way or it'll hit a fiter . Andromeda is in the perfect spot to start making a good run and then slew to Orion after that, giving me some data to play with until I get in the groove to go deeper and further my progression in dso imaging. Thanks Buddy

Yeah that's pretty cool that Sonny was able to locate and post the PDF of the SGP.

There a bunch of different ones listed but, this is more my speed Craig. The ones with the creators is a whole lot of rambling about tools and features that doesn't help someone that has never used them, guess I'll start using a little at a time with Astrotortilla . I just need to get out there and do something if and when this cold spell breaks , 2 weeks is long enough we broke 60 yr. old records in N. Carolina for the lowest temp and longest cold spell. We didn't receive any snow , which is good for me but, bad due to the draught we're in .

I feel your pain.
There has been a 40 degree difference here for weeks now with highs near 60 and lows in teens and twentys.
To top it all off, it has been 94 days since we have had any measurable precipitation but lots of clouds to spoil the show.
Supposedly we are going to have a chance of rain on Wednesday.
I'll believe it when I see it.
Stay warm and it will clear.

Well, it has started here and I'm getting tired of the rain and sending it your way Jim.

Fellas , I just feel terrible . My R leg is giving me fits to the point of standing isn't an option and the rest of my joints are infuriated constantly, life's got to get better soon this crap is killing my astro addiction. I pulled the trigger on SGPw/ framing and mosaic wizard, the email has 2 keys one for each and I spent most of yesterday trying to figure out how to enter the key codes , took a break watch the game and after went back at it and set up the camera and folder and took a couple images in the kitchen using just the camera the 1st 1s image looked right but, the 5s were either all white or all black. and it saved in fits but, I don't know how to put in the framing/ mosaic wizard key ? I'll continue to test and I can't figure out what I did to make it this far. I could use some help ?
