Hi UHH Gang... First: I prefer to 'realistically' CAPTURE a given portrait and or action; I do NOT wish to 'CREATE' my 'concept of reality', using post processing. They only difference between this device and using a wireless remote and post processing is that the photographer gives up creative control to a machine.

It seems odd that you don't want to create your "concept of reality" but you are willing to use a device which will give you its "concept of reality". To me the fun of photography is making my own choices about how my photo will look, whether that is realistic or a different "concept of reality".
Ansel Adams would have been extremely excited like I am sure he would have loved shooting RAW and processing in Lightroom and Photoshop. He was an ultimate image manipulator. He was interested in the end-product.

But he also liked to be in control of every aspect of his photography, and I don't think he would be enthusiastic about a "device" making the choices of settings with artificial intelligence.
