Just got an ad for a "closeout" price, $9.95, for the Hallmark standard greeting card program. Also offered is the deluxe version for $19.95 which includes more format choices plus a photo editor. Both are offered as a DVD purchase. Anyone used this program or a competitor version? Greeting cards have gotten expensive (so has everything else these days) that it appears to be a cost effective solution. I am not interested in the photo editor as I have PS Elements. Opinions/experience would be appreciated.

I use the Jacquie Lawson on-line service, it costs $10/yr for two-year subscriptions. If your intend recipients are e-mail say and don't mind e-cards! No postage cost either. The cards are free beyond your subscription cost, unlimited too!

The cards are wonderful, animated , and they will send it to your addressees, either one at a time, or a group mailing.

Check it out! https://www.jacquielawson.com

Update! Selected "order" to see if PayPal was offered as a payment method. What came up was a window to order Hallmark paper and envelopes. No way shown to decline that offer nor anyway to continue with the software order. Guess that takes care of that.☹️

I've creqated greeting cards for christmas in PSP, used to have an old Win 3.1 program that still worked but one of the upgrades seems to have disappeared it, was rather good, maybe still on my other machine, if I find it I'll post the name, Bob.

I've done my own Christmas cards for the last few years using Affinity or PS and used Red River pre-creased card stock and matching envelopes if you want to still mail your cards. Great product.

I think it was named " Greeting Card Creator", did greeting cards, business cards, place cards etc.
Did a google search, saw some old names including Print Shop, nothing rang a bell for what I was looking for, still looking.
BTW My wife gets her cards in the Dollar store, sometimes 2/$1, cheaper than I can print them and a lot less hassle!

I've used Hallmark for years. Love it. Dohoto collages, etc. and personalize all my cards, which everyone loves. Mine doesn't have any editing capabilities. Downloaded it. Have fun!

I currently am using 2015 Delux ver. Been using the Hallmark program for quite a few years.I only usually update every two years as I find there isn't that much difference with the program it's just some additional stuff. I design and print all my own cards so I could care less about getting more cards. I really like the program. Easy to use and learn. The few times I have had to call tech support about a question they have been very good. Only thing they really could improve is the part where you want to Email a card. It works but in my opinion could stand improvement.

I had an old DOS program that did cards, labels, banners, etc. I have seen upgrades for that program in the stores for not much money. I've learned how to do it through Photoshop, so don't use a program anymore. But I think most printers nowdays won't print banners.

I had used a program that came with my HP laptop. It worked quite will. Now I just us the onboard program in MS works - office. Not fancy but gets the job done. I don't like to have to buy programs if I don't have to. So I make do with what comes on the computer. It isn't Hallmark but it will do. Happy Shooting

ORpilot - thank you so much. I'm on a mac - I'm sure there's something inside it to help me - kind of looking for an outside company to load my images to and add my words ...

I'm just checking out Artscow. They seem to have good prices, although I have not received anything printed yet.
