Beautiful shots taking advantage of fog that, like mist and light, rain can be a photographer's best friend. Much more interesting than clear blue skies and full sun.

I was also in Big Sur in the beginning of July. Ran into the same problem with fog everyday. I am from NJ and was kind of disappointed with the fog. Also, that some of the PCH1 was closed and had to go around some of the best views. Here is one shot from Bixby Bridge.
