What inspired me to buy a Lensbaby for my Fuji X-T2 were portraits by Christopher Galluccio done with the plastic lens. He gave a talk at the 2018. M.A.R.S. (https://www.marsschool.com/). I felt as though I were looking at paintings in a museum. I've been occupied with other things so I haven't as yet taken the opportunity to use the Lensbaby stuff I bought (Composer Pro II with Sweet 50 optic, plastic optic, macro converter extension rings). Like most other photographers I have always sought sharpness in my photos, but after seeing Galluccio's portraiture my mind was opened to the beauty of blur in portraits.
