I went to this pretty village yesterday, it is a very hilly place with lots of cottages with flowers every where. There are grassy fields with sheep grazing and a stream flowing through them.
It was very warm so after a couple hours wandering around there is a great pub at the top of the hill so you can quench your thirst.
Here are a some of the photographs I took, hope you enjoy them.

Very nice, it seems that it is a lovely place to live.
These are very nice...it gives a great feel of the place. It should be in a brochure.

I noticed that 1 and 3 are of the same cottage from different angles. The #3 is my favorite. It is rich in detail and color. Great composition too.
Thanks Jim, I go there at least once a year, it's not far from Clitheroe, it was where the film "Blowing in the Wind" was made. The film producer arranged for all aerials and phone wires to be taken down and the villagers like the idea so much that they have never been put back! This explains why Downham looks so attractive even today.
