Have a look at this article.

Looks like the folks making money off of growing pot are leaving a path of devastation behind. People in the article are talking about creating "Superfund" sites. A quarter teaspoon would k**l an adult bear? Several people rushed to emergency rooms? And the kind of toxins making it to the water supply must be terrifying! Is it like Don Henley sings? "Call some place paradise, kiss it goodbye!" Good luck Californians!

Totally false even when it was not legal any good grower who wishes to sell his crop uses only organic fertilizers these are thoroughly tested in the states that have legalized pot my son is a grower for the dispensaries in Central and Northern California you would not believe the pile of paperwork he has to file in order to sell his product including sending in samples to have them verified as to what was used and the varietal strain of the plant, they come into his gardens unannounced and take samples trying to catch him and the others they cant find anything wrong. The pesticide he uses is garlic and soap, neem oil and seaweed for mildew dangerous huh, Corn growers use far more damaging pesticides than he does and if you do mot know irt Monsanto controls the corn crops throughout the world think they care what they are using of course not. these sort of stories are put out there to scare folks like you who have no idea about the way its grown and the great uses for marijuana law enforcement including the dept. of forestry blindly put this crap out and so many buy into it,
I am a user for heath issues and pot keeps me off morphine which the VA is freely doling out (now you want to talk about dangerous drugs from growing the poppy to refining it by big pharma that's where the pollution comes in both on the ground and in closed minds). No one has died from the plant just that when its illegale many crime organizations are involved along with shady politics. Please read up all you can on a topic before posting such hogwash.

I know I'm going to face possible flaming. But this is a good reason to make it legal set standards.
People aren't going to stop smoking it.

Best reason of all. No criminal activity if it is legal. I get more relief from eating the edibles don't smoke it anymore than I have ever gotten from morphine, oxycodone, Tramadol you name it I been put on it, non of it worked very well, even helps me with ptsd induced nightmares without using marijuana I might be dead by now.(My metal hip and ankle the hip from an accident and the ankle I was shot and it had to be replaced)

This is a direct result of a LACK OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS and oversight, BECAUSE the Federal Government refuses to legalize Marijuana.

States are left to regulate what kinds of packaging and chemicals can and can't be used in their respective states, without any communication and cooperation with other states.

But a study was just released showing that the more often a person uses Marijuana, the higher their risks are for high blood pressure.

Does anyone see the connection between cigarette smoking and Marijuana consumption and the health risks involved?

And where did that get the tobacco industry?

Heavily regulated and taxed!

MA just passed a Marijuana tax of up to 20%, and local cities and towns can add another 3%.

I'm all for it. The pharmaceuticals and I somewhat suspect the alcohol industry slowing the progress with the US govt.

Set it up I will go as well as my wife 2 of my 3 kids, 1 of my grandkids, and so many friends we might make up a 16 of the march. Scary part for me is the Vets do not condone its use, and are on a campaign with the DEA to shut it down, they can try but they never will. My doctor at the VA thinks its ridiculous and agrees with me that it is helpful she would be in trouble if the VA knew.she know a month ahead before she sends me in for the yearly pee test.

I don't partake in any mind altering substances. But let me see if I can plant the seed.

This is what needs to be a priority this is very sad when someone helps an overdosed patient and ends up harmed as well. http://myconnection.cox.com/article/nationalnews/3d4324c6-7eff-11e7-9048-bbab2323f657/
