Beautiful work, Cathy, and I agree with Angela about their having an underwater look to them. I never did get quite the results I wanted with my plastic optic, and I don't think it liked me very well either.
Donna, with your skill as a photographer, it's hard to imagine you having a problem with any lens/optic.
I'm going to have to do an experiment with it using the different sized aperture discs. I've only used the plastic optic wide open at f2. With it so hot out, being indoors taking some pics will be a nice change. Thank you so very much for the compliment!

Do you recommend using the discs?
I don't know. I've used the plastic optic last Summer and now, and have never tried them. So, I'm going to do an experiment. Since it's so hot outdoors, staying in and taking pictures has a lot of appeal! So, we'll find out.

I'm not giving up on the plastic, Cathy. Next time I try it, I'm going to set it on f/8. I remember Kathleen saying that f/8 worked best on either the plastic or soft focus optic, but I can't remember which one.
