These were shot last May with no aperture disc, and the optic is 2.0 without one.

Nice set Cathy and this is another optic I'm not familiar with!! The effect is very different and to me, they have an almost under water feel to them!!
Beautiful colors on all and thanks for sharing.... I might have to look into this one!!

....and of course it's hard to find!! :-(

I've seen one on eBay in the last few days. Thank you so much, Angela, for your wonderful comment!

eta: I'm going to have to experiment with the different sized aperture discs with this one. So far, I've never used any with this optic.

I just looked and I found one on amazon for $50... I'm going to try tomorrow, I think they're giving discounts, but nothing on ebay

Here's a Lensbaby Muse that comes with the Plastic Optic on eBay. You could bid on it. What I do is bid the amount I'd be willing to pay for it. It's at $35 right now with no bids. Let's say you bid $50. eBay will place your bid at $35. If someone comes along and bids $40, eBay would bid something like $42 on your behalf, and would continue this way until the bidding reaches $50 with your highest bid. If you were willing to bid more, you could. It might be worth it to you, and you'd get a Muse too. I just bid on a pinhole/zone plate optic for $25.00. No one else bid on it so I won it. There was one on eBay with a lot of bidding about a month before and lost. We just don't know what's going to happen. Anyway, it's just a thought.....

So cool, Cathy! I agree with Angela that they have an under water feel to them. I believe the plastic optic is the softest one they offer, and I love your results. I love your compositions, colors and glow. They're almost abstract, but you can still tell what they are. The backgrounds are stunning!

I agree with you, Jane. Definitely the softest. I shot these pics without any aperture discs so the aperture is it's native 2.0. I'm going to have to take some with the different discs and see what they look like. ...Uh-oh...... I feel another experiment coming on.

Beautiful work, Cathy, and I agree with Angela about their having an underwater look to them. I never did get quite the results I wanted with my plastic optic, and I don't think it liked me very well either.
