Went to the zoo (Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida) the other day (see the anteater bathing:
http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-470932-1.html#7909906 ) to see their new exhibit. Among other things a new Australia exhibit and more aviaries.
The tawny frogmouth is in the nightjar family. Many confuse it for an owl because of the coloration and body shape. They are also nocturnal, and blend into the bark of trees when they sleep in the daytime.
The turacu is from sub-saharan Africa. They are very tame and I think they are raised and kept as pets in the UK.
The roseatte spoonbill is a local who has decided to live at the zoo.
Excellent photos. Well done sir.
Dennis

Nice photos. The turacu is VERY unusual to my eye.

Thanks. Yes - unusual, and there are several different varieties, all very colorful.
