I agree---digital is NOT the same as having the magazine in hand. I have the same feeling for reading a tablet---like the feel of holding a book or magazine.... guess a sign of habit over the years.

There was a time when I too preferred at printed page to a screen, especially when I had no control. Now I can change font size, resolution, color, contrast and background its no contest. Bye, bye ink and paper I don't miss you.

Although I must admit its not as convenient to carry my desk top into the bathroom.

In the demise today of the printed magazine we see the future, or at least its outline. In the previous demise of familiar items we see the incremental, inevitable loss of the little things to which we became habituated. Goodbye to old hat.
Hello to its replacement.

Hello to its replacement.

I have lots of digital instructional material, but I also like to pick up a book I can page through.
