I HATE to pick one for deletion, but #4. (I still like it)
Dan
If you were to use 3 and 4 on the outsides I would take some artistic license and flip one horizontally. The bright white sky might be a target for some grey clouds.
As for which to delete, I don't have a least favorite. Taking them one at a time the first is my favorite.
Great work!

I would delete #3. Though I like the composition the clutter of the utility lines are distracting to my eye. Very nice set.
I love #1, #3 & #4. They perfectly balance out a tryptich. I would print #2 and frame it for another area of the room. It is a well done photo on its own.
Good shots, Phil! I like #s 2, 3, and 4.
The more I look the more I see and the more I think #3 is the one to miss the cut and the more I like all of them a lot. No. 1 has the wonderful pattern under the eaves, the contrast of the two walls, the birds and the man in the walkway, No. 2 has great examples of the arches where no two seem alike plus the accentuation of the lines in the cobblestone leading right to the end of the walkway and of course the plants, No. 4 just leads your eye right to the woman at the back who upon downloading looks like she's hanging a sign to open up her shop with again the arches, eaves and the really interesting cobblestone pattern adding character to the scene.
If it seems like I'm stalking your photos it's because I AM!!!
They really speak to me even though I'm Sicilian!

A nice set of photos, very good job in B&W, wouldn't look right in color!!
Thanks everybody for looking and for the feedback and recommendations. I really appreciate it. We had a wonderful week in Italy and I have a trove of what I think are nice pics - including more 'arches'. I will post more soon. I like doing 'sets' and post them as 'Mini Themes'
By the way, if you are interested, the locations of the pics were : #1 Montefalco; #2 Spello; #3 Spello; #4 Orvietto
Thanks again.

Some shots from recent trip to Umbria and Tuscany. I am hoping to do a triptych for my livingroom wall out of these. Which one would you delete? Comments and suggestions appreciated.
There's a continuity of light, shadow and surface detail in images 1,2, and 4 that ties them together. Curious to know the lens you used. Very nice work.
1, 2 and 4 have continuity in light, shadows and surface detail. All are wonderful images. What lens did you use?
