Depends on what you are looking for,I like the detail that the color version shows,on the other hand ,if you are looking for a look that conveys a sense of the old time photos,I would go with the B/W.
I think that color for this shot works best. If the horse was black or white and there was more contrast then it could be a toss up between B&W and color. The warm rich color of the horse dominates your attention.
