I didn't pass but it not tell me how many I had wrong, only that I failed. I'll go sit in the corner now and try again in a month. lol

After getting a 25/25, I tried again, this time always choosing the first (leftmost) choice. It told me I Failed, without giving me a score. I'm going to assume that there are only two possibilities, Pass or fail, with everyone getting over a certain score passing, with the "25/25" being misleading (wrong).

Yep! 25/25. Only 4% of Americans score this high? Maybe some folks are illiterate but not that many. False facts?

Hard to imagine how much of the basic grammar in this test is butchered on a daily basis now. Journalists seem to be the worst offenders. Not the environment that surrounded my childhood, that's for sure!

I think that the test is simply acing everyone. There is no way that I got 25/25.

I find many of today's phrases incomprehensible. Makes me feel as if I were from another world some of you may think that already lol

Many of the questions that I answered correctly are for words that many people use incorrectly. I hear it and see it in print all the time. Take "You and I," for example. Most people seem to think that "me" is a bad word and almost never use it.
One expression that bothers me is "try and..." "And" almost never belongs after "try." "Try to find your camera," not "Try and find your camera."
