Travel zoom for Italy in June (Olympus E-M1 Mk2)

I am going on a city trip (business + pleasure) to Torino in June. I want to take my MFT camera with me (Olympus E-M1 Mk2), but would prefer to take just 1 lens with it, max 2. Currently I own 3 Olympus lenses: 30mm F3.5 macro, 45mm F1.8 and 75-300mm tele zoom (for birds). None of them fits the bill because of no wide angle capability. I will be doing photos on the streets (buildings, landscape etc.) and inside buildings (museum, conference hall). What do you advise I should get?

1. Olympus 12-40mm F2.8 pro + Olympus 40-150mm El Cheapo
2. Olympus 12-100mm F4 pro
3. Olympus 14-150mm?

The max budget is around ~1000 GBP.

Thanks.

I was there last year, I went by train (Eurostar and TGV), I took my EM10 with a 20mm prime and a 14-45mm zoom I used the prime mostly.
In your case however I would take the Olympus 12-100mm F4 pro and that ought to be the only lens you should need for those narrow streets and the huge squares in Torino.

Is F4 going to be enough for interiors?

The 14-150mm covers the largest range, so that seems like a good choice, depending on quality and price. Try some reviews.

To Venice recently I took my 5DS R (FF) and the 16-35 L and the 24-105 L. I used the 24-105 L probably 95% of the time.

Thanks guys, but I already have the body so can't consider Canon lenses.

Not suggesting you buy lenses, indicating focal lengths used!

OK, get it. 24-105 on FF translates to 12-52.5 on the Oly body, so about what 12-40 F2.8 Pro lens gives.

The dual stabilization would make the 12-100 my first choice - on top of that, the 12-100 is even sharper than the 12-40 and believe me the 12-40 is tack sharp.

The 14-150 is not in the same league as the 12-40/12-100

How does 12-100 fare in low light?

Depends on your subject. Can you shoot your subject at a slower speed. It is an f4 lens, so it's not going to perform like an f1.2, but with the em1ii you'll get dual IS support. That's why I like having fast primes at the ready, in particular my 25mm f1.4...there's no replacement for displacement, er, I mean light gathering properties.

It looks like I have the choice between 12-40 F2.8 and 12-100 F4, which is "only" 1 stop.
