I had a Sigma 16mm manual focus that I used with my film Nikons. It was also very sharp and produced some fun shots.
One word of caution with these full frame fisheyes. Avoid tilting the camera down...even slightly. You'll end up with your feet in the shot.

Going tomorrow morning, to Sherwood Gardens (its in Baltimore, is a tulip garden) expect to get there about 6:45AM. Going to take my Nikon D810, my 105mm macro and the 16.2 fisheye for really close shots. Haven't yet decided on whether to take the SB-R200 ring flashes or the SB900 - maybe I'll take both.
Back to the fisheye - it can get you to about 1" or closer while the 105 has a close focus distance of 9".
