I recently changed credit cards and have tried unsuccessfully to update my payment information with Adobe. They have sent me a message asking me to update, but when I enter the correct card info. and hit the SAVE button, nothing happens. I have been trying for several days. A few weeks ago I deleted all the cookies from my computer, could this have something to do with the problem?

Have you contacted Adobe online support for help? I found them very helpful in the past.
Page full of info plus contact info for help can be found here.

I wouldn't be surprised that the problem is at Adobe's end.
Thanks, I have done all of this and tried all of the support options and cannot get anything of a response from Adobe. I do not see a
chat option or any email that I can use to contact a support person. The email that I got that notified me that my credit card needed to be changed (which I already knew) does not accept replies.
I have the cloud version. It is much slower to satr up and load images than LR5.7. So far I'm not impressed.

Djedi....I've been trying to decide whether to get the Cloud or Elements. Can Lightroom also be purchased separately like Elements? I think I'd rather not have to deal with Adobe Customer Service again.

A few months ago, I received the same email, for the same reasons. I followed the link, made the changes and saved them. I continued to receive the service, with all apps working as expected. Since the beginning of CC, I've not had to contact Adobe, but there are several ways to do so if need be.
You can use this link:
https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html#/top_productsNotice there is a "Sign In" link at the top of this page. You should do that first.
Thank you, but I have already tried this. I have gotten to the pop up where you enter the new card data and hit SAVE. Nothing happens after I hit SAVE.
Would deleting coolies from my computer have anything to do with this?

I wouldn't think so. Have you absolutely confirmed that all fields are completed on the page? After clicking SAVE, scroll to the top of the page to see if there is a message indicating some required field has been left blank. That happens to me on occasion.
When you say nothing happens, how long do you wait to see if something happens? Sometimes the pipes are full and it takes a while for your request to get to their server.

Sticking with an older version of Lightroom may load faster, only because of the older system - of course, by running the older system you do lose out on all the new features, and eventually it may cease to function for you, I much prefer the Cloud version, Lightroom loads up on my computer from scratch in under 6 seconds, flies thru raw images from my D7100 (25 mb files) and performs very nicely - Photoshop loads up in under 4 seconds, no complaints at all. All this with a large catalog of over 38,000 images.
BTW - once initially loaded in most cases the programs remain cached, so subsequent launchings happen much much faster... Lightroom in maybe 3 seconds, and Photoshop in 2 seconds. And of course with the cloud version you get free updates as long as you keep your subscription active.
Could it be you have a bottleneck at some point that is slowing you down. Like a USB 2.0 drive where your images are stored? Catalog not optimized or stored on a slow drive? Disk fragmentation?
Speaking of new updated programs with CC - New versions of Camera Raw, Lightroom and Photoshop now available. I do LOVE new stuff ;)

Steve, have you considered trying out ACDsee pro 10, my personal opinion is that it is superior to Lightroom and the photo management module is top notch. :)
Sometimes this issue could be the fault of the browser. Try a different one.

Somewhere there is a live chat option on their website.
I recently upgraded to a new laptop, and I needed a way to download the software to the new laptop without paying for a second subscription. They asked me what operating system the new computer was running and sent me an email with a link to use for the download.
What browser do you use? I use Firefox!
