Look forward to the changes we're going to make. Yes we intend to let women rule their own bodies and to outlaw discrimination. We're going to make it easier to v**e and hopefully easier for our children to get a college education without amassing huge debt. We've got an extensive agenda which I'm sure will trouble a lot of you but we're going to do the right thing for our people and our planet.

Hmmm. Let's see. The Russians were perhaps closer to the target than congress. Perhaps that is an unfortunate situation, but I digress. Of the two entities involved, the Russians were probably more directly affected by the decision to launch missiles than congress was. Congress was informed in due time. Secondly, telling congress would have probably alerted the press which would have made it known to the world that there was going to be a strike. Thus, removing the element of surprise.

So, just when Assad's airforce is snug in their beds, BLAM one airbase is pretty much destroyed. Assad might think twice about pulling that sort if thing again.

If you don't understand that giving the Russians a 90 minute warning didn't effectively result in the Syrians being given an 89 minute warning (by their Russian protectors), then you truly are slow. Believe me, Bob, we did not catch Assad's air force snug in their beds. There are numerous reports that Assad was able to save several aircraft by flying them off the base before the missiles hit.

Yes, Syrian assets were the target, but there's more to this than just the bombing. Trump is sending a message - a big message - to Syria, Russia, China, N. Korea mostly and least of all the rest of the world that he is not going to just sit idly by and let the Syrians, or any one else, commit mass murder by using illegal gas attacks.. So many women and children were k**led in the gas attacks and that shows cowardice. Trump does not like cowardice.
