You're absolutely right - Morgans are great cars (even the 3 wheelers ðÂÂÂ). I LOVE Morgans (and TVRs and Griffiths, and Ace Bristols, and...)
A Morgan you have probably never seen
[quote=philmurfin]I started this topic yesterday as an add-on.
Have you ever had three wheel cars in the States?
Here are some Fine examples of what we have enjoyed in the UK.
We have had many 3 wheeled vehicles here in the US, Cushman comes to mind and plenty of imports. 3 wheeled motorcycles have gained popularity lately.
We see these frequently here in Florida

You're right - I have not! Is it a heavily modified +4 or +8? Hard to tell with all the body mods. Obviously set up as a race car, but I don't see numbers or a class marking. Pray tell more about it.

They ran a couple years ago it's a Morgan Aero 8 (4.4 ltr BMW engine) in race trim. They ran in IMSA GTO class, I believe they were factory cars. They were pretty competitive. Here's the road version

https://www.morgan-motor.co.uk/aero8/Very cool (and thanks for the info). Now I think I remember the Aero 8, but it's Waaaay back in my cortex somewhere. I'll never forget the first +4 I drove (not in competition although I did race SCCA and was involved in IMSA) - you adjusted the height of the driver's seat by inflating or deflating the seat cushion (seriously). Thanks for posting these great shots of one of my favorite east coast tracks and cars.
