I can feel your pain. It was indeed a very beautiful dog.
I lost my lovely cat 5 years ago to renal failure. Her life was a misery as it ended. I relieved her from her suffering when she was put to sleep.
I am still remembering her, so much happiness and joy she brought into our lives. Her death came as a shock to us. She was the first pet I ever had of my own.
I suffered so much after she died that I promised myself I will not adopt another animal in my lifetime. I love animals but I do not want to go through the same experience again.

So sorry for your loss. Such wonderful creatures. All they want to do is please us. I dread the day that I loose Smudgey my Border Collie. The pictures will help but they won't replace the real little buddy you had, so sorry.

My friend, I am truly sorry for the loss of Sammy. I have one just like him, and he was also a rescue dog. Smartest dog I have ever encountered. Mine barks once a week (maybe), doesn't shed, minds me better than my kids ever did, and is my best friend. Its amazing how they can understand every word you say to them. I hope you can find another friend in the future. JESS
