Another nice group, Greg. The Chipping Sparrow is my choice from this group. The blown highlights in the first shot might have been cause to have deleted it from this otherwise very fine group. Do you use any PP software?...if so, which one?

Beautiful set, Greg and I especially love the little bow the chickadee is giving you!!
...a thank you, I'm sure for the food you serve!!

Thank you Angela and you maybe correct about the bow. I sure like those little birds and currently I am trying to decide if I go out back or just kick back for awhile. Thank you for the smiley and the thumb up, I love them both.

Excellent set, Greg!

Thank You, Corky. I am happy with it but still need to get out and take some from beyond my yard. Maybe in the morning. Thank you for taking the time to post your reply. It helps to know if I am still doing a decent job posting these photos.

Bob, I agree and almost did ct that one prior to posting. I had to lighten that photo about 2 stops. I currently am using FastStone but attempting to learn PSE 14. I have owned it for a year and still struggle with it. Thanks for your comments and insight.

Beautiful shots of your backyard birdies, Greg. Be on the watch for indigo buntings, rose-breasted grosbeaks and blue grosbeaks in about 2 weeks! I hope we all have a good migration season.

Carol, that bird happens to be a Pine Warbler. I also had trouble identifying it the first time and Donna told me what it was. They have changed some in the last three months. The amount of yellow has increased. Thank you for your comments on my photos of my feathered friends. I am blessed being able to get out there and get a couple of photos when I can or just sit there and enjoy the many birds I have coming around on a normal day. I counted 8 mature Male Cardinals this evening at one time. They were in my ground feed, the feeders in the back and the feeders on the deck. I know I have at least three nesting pairs. I want to take photos of their nests on chance they have a Brown-Headed Cowbird egg in one of them but at the same time do not want to disturb them. Got to go and I thank you one more time.

Thank you Greg. I looked in my field guide now that I have a name and there they are! I need to set up my camera and try for some shots of the little guys I see. I mostly just sit and watch them.

Donna, thanks for the comments on my photos. Thanks a million for the tips on the upcoming bird photo shoots. I will keep my camera focused for them.

Carol, watching them is a whole lot of fun. Taking photos of them is just a little step above.

Sis, today I was up and around making coffee and doing laundry at 3:00 AM. I have been getting up early most of my life. You mention the advantage of getting up early and WalMart not having many customers. That is one of the many great items of early shopping. WalMart usually has 2 registers open this early and as we know in NC they only have 5 if we are lucky at Noon. I can do my shopping and checkout in less time and also have really great conversations with the employees and other shoppers. It is also a good time to be getting everything ready to go our and shoot some photos. I love being in my blind and watching and listening to the birds waking up. Thanks for the comments on my photos, Sis. I really appreciate it.
