Today was a day of missteps. Started out just doing the daily activity of grocery shopping and went to WalMart and did the shopping for the week at 5 AM. The balance of the day did not go as planned. I finally got outside at around 5:30 PM and got a few in the backyard. Still have not done any of the updates so nothing special, just a couple of my friends. ALL C&C is welcome. All the photos were taken with my Canon 200mm f 2.8 L lens and my Canon 1.4 III TC which combined makes it a 280mm lens combo. My Canon 80D has a crop factor of 1.6 and my heavy tripod was used. Thank you for leaving your comment and all the details will be with each photo.

Greg, I always enjoy your birds and these are very nice! What is the last one? I have feeders and watch the birds a lot but for some reason I haven't taken pictures of them. I regularly see some very much like your last shot and I haven't figured out they are.

Carol, that bird happens to be a Pine Warbler. I also had trouble identifying it the first time and Donna told me what it was. They have changed some in the last three months. The amount of yellow has increased. Thank you for your comments on my photos of my feathered friends. I am blessed being able to get out there and get a couple of photos when I can or just sit there and enjoy the many birds I have coming around on a normal day. I counted 8 mature Male Cardinals this evening at one time. They were in my ground feed, the feeders in the back and the feeders on the deck. I know I have at least three nesting pairs. I want to take photos of their nests on chance they have a Brown-Headed Cowbird egg in one of them but at the same time do not want to disturb them. Got to go and I thank you one more time.

Beautiful shots, Greg. I love seeing your backyard friends. The birds really pop against the blurred background.

Jane, thank you for your great comments . I love the way the color of the background changes over time from the current brown with an occasional slice of green. It was 100% brown not to long ago and will be 100% green in another 4-5 weeks. I hope I will always love taking their photos and I believe the changes I want to make will always make it fun.
