I've had this printer for over 2 years. I've printed different size photos' and have never had an issue.

My Pixma Pro-100 (also bought at a deep discount) is one of three printers I have: an inexpensive Brother B&W laser, an Epson color inkjet multi-function, and the Canon. Since the laser does my B&W printing and the Epson does my normal color (documents, graphs, some prints), the Pro-100 only gets only occasional use on polished prints. In two years it has been very reliable and easy to use, producing very professional looking prints limited only by my own skill. Its footprint is larger than my other printers, I have the room in my office so it is not a problem. I works well for printing polished pictures but I do not find it useful for production printing of documents or graphs. Although the Epson workforce does a very credible job printing graphs and pictures, images printed on the Pro-100 are noticeably better.
Hello,
I own one and it's a great printer. I get around the cost of ink by shopping online for non-Canon ink. Just as good and last longer.
