I seem to have lost the lens cap for my Nikon 18-140 lens yesterday. Local availability here is sketchy if at all, so I went online and found one at Adorama for a good price. Unfortunately, when it comes to shipping things to Alaska, the shipping rates skyrocket. Haven't figured out why yet, but that is how it is. So the free shipping didn't apply. The lens cap was $11.00 and change, but shipping was going to be nearly as much. That was disappointing, as that added over $9.00 to the item. The guy was sympathetic and instead of shipping UPS, he said he'd put in the regular mail and only charged me $5.25 to mail it up here. Now that's what I call customer service. Good folks there. THANKS Adorama.
And nobody has to wait for the UPS guy... Congrats!
I am constantly impressed with Adorama. I bought my Coolpix P900 from them just recently. Not only did I find the lowest price (lower than Amazon!), but free shipping as well.
AND... until recently, I didn't know that they sold other things beside camera equipment. I snapped up a new Fender Classic Player Telecaster guitar from them for $379 - no taxes, no S&H! I could have turned around and sold it for twice that amount (but I'm not going to, it's a surprisingly wonderful guitar!).

Well thank you Helen for running a great department. He didn't have to do what he did but it was much appreciated.
I've had a Fuji X-T2 on backorder from B&H for weeks. I called Adorama to see what there waiting time was. Steve said he had a used one and you could not tell the difference.I went for it and so far so good.
Yes Adorama is very good.I have used them for years service, prices, selection is top notch. Another very good company is Cameta Camera. Can't go wrong with either.
