Tree in front of water spray, not a composite
Love the light and the gnarly tree. Like your creative idea for the shot. The blue element behind (person?) is a little distracting. I wonder if could be made less obvious with a bit of cyan desaturating?

Linda, as with everything I post on here anyone can do anything to it. Give it a try. I left the blue guy in to break up the grey band.

Nicely composed and sharp. Well done.

That's an interesting shot you don't see every day. I like the texture in the old tree and the great use of shutter speed to capture all those water droplets in the air.

OK, that's pretty cool.... excellent pre-visualization and execution. Very good job.

Hey, Randomeyes...
Wonderful planning: Ansel would be proud!
That tree is a joyous dancer revelling in the spray!

That's an unusual image randomeyes, and nice to see you posting in FYC.
I'd join Linda in removing the blue thing but, otherwise, like it the way it is - especially in the download.

Removing the blue in the coat left a gray, featureless blob.
So then I tried cloning, which was unsuccessful, partly file size/partly my lack of skills.
Since it's snowing outside, I went on to amuse myself further by pulling out my favorite part of your image. Again, I love the gnarly tree, and the way the water drops are lit. Of course now they are a very clear, starry sky at night
#2 is more fanciful . Thanks so much for the chance to play!

Removing the blue in the coat left a gray, feature... (

Select some of the image to the right of the "blob". Make a new layer, drag it to the left and add a black layer mask. Paint out the "gray blob" using a white brush. Small file size makes this a bit more difficult.

That's a snazzy bit of pp dsturr, improves the image for sure.

I always forget about creating new layers and using a piece of the original. OP has stated he prefers with the walker, but thanks for hint for next time!
