Now here is a sort of everyday photo but like all of us it is not only the photo per se but the composition. Now to get this shot I had to strap on snowshoes and walk a bit on down to the the river side, a moving river which is chunky-iced over so you can never be sure what is under you when walking along. This is a popular building to shoot from all around but in the winter this angle is rare.

Yes, sometimes it is...I'm on snowshoes 4 - 5 times a week and enjoy makng my own trails. Often bring along my camera as you'll see in my upcoming Challenge

Here is something...ice by lake's edge at Lakewood pk would be gone by now, it reached 69F lovely degrees on Sat. and was sunny. We went to the Rocky River Res. for a long walk.
