Thanks for all the responses. I will be using this camera and lens setup for wildlife photography and am looking for something that will keep the camera ready for a shot if needed quickly. Has anyone used a Keyhole Hands-Free Camera and Binocular System with Shoulder Straps.

Ps: docs won't do surgery yet.

I also have a bad shoulder for carrying all of my gear. I am a sports photographer for high school football and I carry a lot of gear. I went out and purchased a scrapbooking rolling bag. It came with a removable compartment bag that I use for my lenses. I found mine in a hobby store, but I have seen them at Wal-Mart.

The only problem with backpacks is you basically have to remove them completely to get gear in and out. Access isn't as quick and easy as a shoulder bag.

I just bought the shoulder bag from Altura and brought my three lenses and the DSLR to Florida. It's a very compact and convenient way to travel with gear. I also stuffed the tripod on the side of it when walking about the Green Cay in Delray Beach.

I have a Canon 7d with a battery grip and Sigma 150 - 500mm lens. This is a heavy rig to haul for a distance. My question is does anyone have a suggestion as to what I can use to transport this camera and lens to a shoting spot. By the way I have bad shoulders.

Rolling suitcases come in a variety of sizes and can be found VERY cheap. Check out Walmart, Target, ebay, and ebags.com for sale items. There are smaller rolling laptop cases that would be big enough for your gear and are much smaller and lighter. Because they are more specialized they cost about $60+, whereas you can get a rolling 22" suitcase for half that. Just found this one. Check it out.

When I was young and threw my tripod over my shoulder, there was an old guy who used a 2 wheel golf bag caddy, with wider than normal wheels. He would stick the legs of the tripod into the golf bag, with the camera and Canon 600 mounted. We always walked for several miles in soft sand and he had no problem. If something caught his eye he would stand the bag up and get his grab shots with monopod like support.
