I have a Canon 7d with a battery grip and Sigma 150 - 500mm lens. This is a heavy rig to haul for a distance. My question is does anyone have a suggestion as to what I can use to transport this camera and lens to a shoting spot. By the way I have bad shoulders.

What about a small rolling suitcase. I think they even make rolling camera bags but those would be more expensive.

I have seen people using a shopping cat, that you pull behind you, for transporting heavy gear.

Look at a camera backpack? I have a messenger back from ThinkTank that I really like so I'd assume their other products are equally high quality. You might also look at a Black Rapid shoulder sling.

I know a few who have modified these carts https://www.tgw.com/caddytek-ez-push-cart?SITE_ID=A2004&CID=PLA&gclid=Cj0KEQiA25rFBRC8rfyX1vjeg7YBEiQAFIb3b6xdFnVE8YwI6VExzLkzxVu65K3Zd9VAkAssZd4eBscaApjT8P8HAQ

When I was young and threw my tripod over my shoulder, there was an old guy who used a 2 wheel golf bag caddy, with wider than normal wheels. He would stick the legs of the tripod into the golf bag, with the camera and Canon 600 mounted. We always walked for several miles in soft sand and he had no problem. If something caught his eye he would stand the bag up and get his grab shots with monopod like support.

Depends on terrain. I took a small shopping dolly that has a built in back pack and a folding seat and put balloon tires on it. The handle collapses when not in use. I converted the seat into a platform to use as a flat work table. The bag (back pack) will hold a decent size camera bag and lots of other stuff. I strap the tripod to the frame with bungee cords. I can comfortably carry a considerable amount of gear and accessories across all types of terrain, from rocky trails to paved paths to sand and I've even dragged it through the woods a few times, and it's small enough I can carry it on my motorcycle.

I just purchased a used golf caddy for $10 at Goodwill. It's got big wheels and good balance.
I plan to outfit it to take my lights to locations.
That could work for you since I assume a backpack is out.
What's nice is it's pretty light and folds fairly compact for transport. Good luck

I never thought of using/modifying a golf cart for my camera gear. I have one and will be doing that for a carry of just a couple of items. I bought a tool bag from Lowes that has a handle and good wheels. Currently it holds all my digital gear except for some of my strobes and accessories of that nature (light box, etc.).

You've received some amusing answers. I was going to suggest surgery, but there is already enough humor. I'm going to be looking for one of those "shopping cats." :)

Remember the Radio Flyer toy wagons, well they make them now with pneumatic tires and side rails, I see them all the time in Florida. Most of them collapse for easy transport. Works well on most of the boardwalks down here. I see a lot of baby strollers with camera's in them too.
