The other evening I had my camera along after a brief thunderstorm moved through the area and I got a couple of nice shots.

Love the first one....very nice composition and all.

I'd have LOVED it if you'd have also done a LOOONNNNGGGG exposure and completely smeared the clouds :)

Vock, I'll try that and post.

rpavich...the clouds weren't doing much moving, so I don't think I could have smeared them. But next time I get some clouds like that I'll maybe try using my darkest ND filter and see what happens.

Great. If they aren't moving very fast you have to do a several minute exposure...I've seen 20 minute exposures for that kind of thing.

I had a burger and came out and got the shot. Although I didn't have the Randy Burger which is 20 ounces of prime chopped beef on a bun!

Thanks...I was worried I might have overdone the saturation a bit in PP. I might back it down a little the more I look at it. The grass looks more like a field of safflower than prairie grass.
