was the co. Pubic Relations office. That placard was at their door for almost a year till someone other than me noticed the mistake. True Story

Signs have always amused me as in their brevity they often say things that make no sense. Some of my favorites-- Fire Door, must remain closed at all times-- Will someone please explain what a FIRE HOSE is used for. Why would anyone buy a HOT WATER HEATER. In the City of NY in the 50's nuclear scare all the bridges in the City had the following sign--IN CASE OF AIR RAID- DRIVE OFF BRIDGE.
