I bought them both in 59' and caught Miles in NYC the same year - Birdland and Brubeck on Randall's Island. Vivid memories.
Thanks
Mark

I didn't see this in your listing. It's 33 minutes uninterruped from '66. You have to hit on the pause button to make it play.

Thanks Steve. I liked the way he started off with Take the A Train, one of my Duke Ellington favorites. He has a lot of good stuff out there and I just didn't have time or space to list it all.

The hookup from my computer to my stereo is down, but I look forward to playing these on it. I have this page bookmarked.

Maybe put them on a flash drive and insert into the TV? Most have a USB slot in the back. Easy to convert the video/audio files into mp3 files. Id be happy to provide step by step instructions and a link to a free converter. It's' really simple to do. I have thousands on my PC.

I had the privilege of hearing Brubeck and the quartet at the University of Richmond in the old Milhauser Gym. It was a small venue, and I was only about 20 feet from the "stage". Somewhere I have some atmospheric BW shots of the concert. Photography was probably forbidden, but I shot available light, and didn't get busted. Wonderful sounds from a landmark group.

I'm a big fan of Brubeck. I have:

Jazz: Red Hot and Cool
Time Out
Time Further Out
Time Changes
Anything Goes: The Dave Brubeck Quartet Plays Cole Porter
Time In
We're All Together Again For The First Time: Dave Brubeck, Gerry Mulligan, Paul Desmond

Time Out was the first jazz album I bought and it's still one of my favorites.

I'm a fan too. Started with "Jazz at Storyland, 50'
He continued playing well into his 80's.
