I can assure you sir, this is no joke.Numerous people have offereed their suggestions and for that I am grateful. The wireless remote doesn't work. I've contacdted Nikon USA, after I've tried all the suggestions made. I wish the instruction manual was as helpful as all of our Hendgehog members.

ok so do me a favor and post a picture of the front and back of your camera, just take it with your cell phone like I did and post the pic here so we can see the front and back of your camera. That might help us to fix your problem.

Enough already. I'll just be using the shutter button! All the input was greatly appreciated and I'm glad I got involved with Ugly Hedgehog. You all are most kind and helpful!

Excellent suggestion Mrkema. A picture is worth a thousand words. I suspect this is not an issue with the Nikon D3300 at all. A different model Nikon perhaps?
