A bald eagle takes on rowdy ravens

Canon SX60. Despite the zoom range, most of these are heavily cropped because I kept finding myself at the wrong focal length at the wrong time!

5. Most of the time it was one eagle against 7 or 8 ravens. Another adult eagle attempted to land and was driven off. A juvenile wisely chose to just fly by.

Terrific series! It's a rare sight you captured. And you captured it very well, particularly given the rapid movement in the scene!

That gang of ravens was relentless! I was rooting for the eagle but I guess he was outnumbered. This is quite a strong story telling series. Looks like you managed to capture all the nuances.

Thank you for your comments, Carol! It occurred to me I need a spotter (not sure if Trixie is up to learning the skill) to tell me when to pull back on the zoom
