Here is a closer shot of the sailboat, just a leisurely sail amongst the ice and seals. This shot should be viewed in download. Lots of open water for him.

Thanks. I do prefer the the original picture as it reflects the grandeur and scale. I was thinking along the lines of some combo of darkening the glacier and highlighting the boat. I will give a shot later (when I am not at work).

I really like this last shot where the boat is much closer. You still get an idea of the immensity of the glacier; but the boat is much more prominent. I also love the blue in the ice.

Thanks for your input.
You say you were a flight engineer, you must have lots of photos taken from the air or from different areas you flew to. Let's see a few, the people on the Hog would love to see your collection.

I was a professional.

Taking aerial snaps was not a part of the job description and as the safety of my passengers was the prime consideration, for me to be so irresponsible as to distract myself in such a manner would be an act of gross negligence on my part and therefore, unthinkable.

What about when you deplane, layovers etc.? Surely you must have visited and seen some interesting places? We on the Hog would be delighted to see your travel photos. You had an advantage over us because your travel was free.
