But grandparents shouldn't have to raise grandchildren. They deserve to have free time in their remaining years. They raised their children. Now it's the responsibility of the parents of these children to do the same.

If they can't, or won't raise, their own children, who will raise the children of those children? Not the grandparents. They didn't raise their children in the first place.

I'm not sure exactly what the last sentence of both paragraphs is supposed to relay. But not to be argumentative and to have a connective thought on this; the original set of grandparents were the people who raised the idiots, who can't raise their child(ren). They didn't get it right the first time, why would they get it right a second time, by raising their grandchildren.

The Polynesian sort of did this. The grandparents raised the grandchildren. This way they had the wisdom of the elderly infused into their young collective for survival. But there the elderly had wisdom, not so much as the inner city or other places where the parents do not take an active role in raising children.

When I was about 6 years old I thought I had a black friend. Then one day he went berserk, ran into his house got a butcher knife and came at me, threatening he was going to kill me. I ran to my house up a 1/2 flight of stairs, then thought it would be a good place for me to turn and disarm him. Which I did. He went home and told his mother that I stole her butcher knife and she came to my mouse all huffy, wanting her knife that I stole. When she found out it was he who got the knife and came at me with it, she paddled his butt all the way down our stairs disciplining him.

Today she would have been charged with child abuse. This is the wisdom that has been lost. No responsibility for their actions.

You are so right. Where I live, so many children are being raised by their grand parents because the parents are on drugs and won't take the responsibility to raise the children they made. You are right about the fact that they didn't raise their children correct, what makes you think they will raise the grand children right. In fact, usually the grandchildren turn out even worse than their parents because now the grand parents are too old to keep up with the young ones; who figure this out very quickly and end up running wild getting into every bad thing they come across. I saw several cases when my son was in grammar school and the children being raised by grand parents were worse than those that had drug addicts for parents and were raising their own children. The one exception was the case where the parents were killed in a car crash and the grand parents raised the children; they turned out to be fine young men and women. The liberal view of not disciplining a child has gotten so bad, even the schools can't control the brats that have figured out the control they can instill over their teachers and school employees. As soon as they are corrected, they run screaming child abuse and half the state government is at the door step just waiting to arrest and ruin the life of those involved; it's terrible. I helped out in the grammar school my son attended back in the late nineties and early 2000's and I saw it going down hill more and more each year and now it's a zoo if it's anything by what I am hearing. It's all part of the liberal agenda to destroy our society and instill the New World Order. If America doesn't wake up in the next 20 or so days and smell the coffee, we will be doomed as they are destroying our society from every direction they can possibly hit us from.

What a maroon; still don't get do you. And you're trying to call me liberal?

There you go with the color thing again......calling me a shade of red!😎

On a serious note......PLEASE show us all where I called you a liberal?????????

Also, while on the subject of accuracy, exactly what is it I don't get? I DO "get" your racial comments (though you appear to dense to understand it).

All of this began when God was taken out of our School System.
