This is considered an "Act of God" so my insurance will only cover damaged structures, fences, etc. They do not pay for tree removal and they only pay for what is on my side of the fence which is the roots and the trunk up about 4 ft. So I will have to pay to have the roots and 4 ft of trunk removed. The rest of the tree is in the neighbor's yard. The neighbor's home owner's insurance has to pay for his side.
