it work fine for negs to keep negs flat I use a neg holders from my inlargers.

Thanks everyone. I made a deal with one of our folks and am looking forward to starting this project. I suppose there will be one more scanner to re-market when I finish. But I still shoot film too so maybe I'll keep it after all. I'll let you know.
